給設(shè)計(jì)師的“十戒律”:

01.不可抄襲他人之創(chuàng)意，不論有何前提；

Not to copy other’s creative work, under no circumstances;

kevinsky:不要拿”撞車”來(lái)解釋創(chuàng)意的雷同,抄襲就是偷盜!一名職業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)師應(yīng)該掌握足夠的信息量以避免自己的創(chuàng)意雷同他人;

02.不可過(guò)分依賴電腦技術(shù)，切記，你是一名設(shè)計(jì)師，不是一名電腦修圖員；

Not to rely completely on computer technology, it is a tool only and cannot substitute your creativity. Remember, you are a designer, not a computer graphic editor;

kevinsky:電腦只是一種工具,設(shè)計(jì)是靠你的大腦,而且我奉行手繪與電腦并舉將你將所向披靡;

03.不可一直追隨流行設(shè)計(jì)風(fēng)格，現(xiàn)在流行的，必是馬上過(guò)時(shí)的；

Be a creator and not a fashion-follower because a trendy style today would become an out-dated one tomorrow;

kevinsky:設(shè)計(jì)是一種思想,形式可以流行,但創(chuàng)意不可流行;

04.各用10%的精力涉足十門設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)科，不如用100%的精力涉足于一門學(xué)科；

Trying ten design fields simultaneously but badly is worst than concentrating on one field and master it;

kevinsky:專注與精通永遠(yuǎn)是成功的第一法則;

05.不可將自己都認(rèn)為有問(wèn)題的作品向公眾發(fā)表；

Be professional and not to release any art works that you don’t like;

kevinsky:對(duì)自己放縱是對(duì)最大的自殘,設(shè)計(jì)師應(yīng)該嚴(yán)格要求自己,寧可自戀,因?yàn)橹辽賹?duì)自己要求完美;

06.不可因低價(jià)商業(yè)項(xiàng)目，而放低對(duì)作品的要求；

Not to lower the quality in view of low business value of an art work;

kevinsky:要么不接,接下的案子就該盡100%的力,因?yàn)樵业氖悄阕约旱呐谱?

07.不可憑主觀意識(shí)評(píng)價(jià)他人作品；不可人云亦云；

Not to criticize other’s artwork merely on the ground of one’s preferences nor just replicate comment from someone;

kevinsky:老師曾教導(dǎo)我,評(píng)價(jià)別人的作品不要說(shuō)不好,只需說(shuō)我不喜歡.思考之后再做評(píng)價(jià)，不然你的言論毫無(wú)價(jià)值;

08.不可閉門造車；了解一些歷史、哲學(xué)和人文，將對(duì)你的作品大有好處；

Not to create artwork without any ground. Great works usually come from

the understanding of the culture, history and philosophy;

kevinsky:厚積而薄發(fā),知識(shí)積累在倉(cāng)庫(kù)里,自然有用到的時(shí)候!設(shè)計(jì)是一門綜合知識(shí)運(yùn)用的學(xué)科,要想做出有內(nèi)涵的作品就得多看書,且是多讀文字類的書籍;

09.不論身份高低，須保持歉虛的態(tài)度；

Keep yourself modest to people, no matter you are just a novice or a master;

kevinsky:謙虛使人進(jìn)步這是個(gè)硬道理,而且謙虛讓你更受尊重,別學(xué)那些無(wú)知的自大狂,其實(shí)那是一種膚淺的表現(xiàn)!

10.永遠(yuǎn)堅(jiān)信：設(shè)計(jì)可以拯救你的國(guó)家，可以改變世界。

Always believe that design can save your country and change the world.
